Association Center for Educational Development and Innovation in October 2013 began to implement a program of financial instrument of the European Economic Area in the period (2009 – 2014) programs “NVO fonds” and the subprogram “Nevalstisko organizāciju projektu programma” Projects “Tavu iespēju” ABC “”.

The overall objective of Projects “Tavu iespēju” the ABC “” – create a unified civil society, to carry out inter-cultural dialogue, Integration of national minorities, including the promotion of human rights and democracy, to carry out an innovative study of the Latvian language, thus promoting citizenship.

In general, the Projects will address and will be attended by several target groups – about 10,000 representatives of national minorities, non-citizens 500, 300 citizens. The implementation of the project activities as a few members of the NVO Fund will be involved, which represent the rights and interests of the above-mentioned groups of people, including 55 members of the NVO, 10 of their employees and 10 volunteers.

The project is envisaged to implement in Latgale until January 2015, along with three partners from Dagda, Kraslava and Aglona, ​​Daugavpils, as well as from Ilukste region and Jekabpils edge – for companies: “Krāslavas rajona partnerība”, “Daugavpils un Ilūkstes novadu partnerība” Kaimiņi “” , “Attīstības aģentūra” Pieci “”, which in their territories contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development, involving government, non-governmental organizations and entrepreneurs, also contribute to solving the problems of the local people, contribute to the development of civil society and democracy.

Projects To achieve the objectives in the Projects will be developed and distributed (in both electronic and hard copy) 4 rooms “Latgales tilts” intercultural youth newspaper; develop and distribute the booklet “Tavu iespēju” ABC “”. In the framework of the project planned training involved in the Projects members, employees, founders and volunteers, the measures for the exchange of experience and courses of development of the Latvian language in Kraslava and Daugavpils to the representatives of national minorities and non-citizens.

Thus, implementing the project, it is planned to achieve several outcomes – increasing the proportion of people in Latvia that, formally and informally through interaction and social goals, multiplies social capital. It will be activated NVO real opportunity in the creation of social activities of citizens, charity, volunteer work, enhancing self-management, co NVO and the media, to populyazirovat successful civil society and participation in the relevant processes, referring to real examples, the advanced knowledge and skills of school-age youth that Projects will contribute to the work and materials created in Projects – 4 rooms “Latgales tilts” and the booklet “Tavu iespēju” ABC newspaper “”. In turn, the publication, dissemination and promotion of the booklet “Tavu iespēju” ABC “” will enhance and contribute to the public, an informal group and the effectiveness of participation in social organizations at the district level policy processes. Provide guidance and a good example of the active participation of civil society in the processes occurring in the country, as well as provide access to understandable information and communication effective civil society participation in policy development for the representatives of national minorities and the population.

As a result of the activities of Projects sustainable environment is formed and will develop a results-oriented action NVO. Encourage employee NVO on the result-oriented to improve capacity, attract person NVO, support the emergence of innovative social organizations and their development. The total project cost 32984.35 LVL. Society “Izglītības un inovāciju attīstības centrs”  started its activities in 2008. The main objectives Projects are – to improve access to learning resources and services for all segments of society, and especially for the souls of the poor and marginalized, to promote the development of education and innovation education, science, culture and health, in the field of environmental protection in accordance with the unified state policy and strategy, as well as to evaluate the development of continuing education (training).
